Jun. 16th, 2011 06:55 pmMy Big Plan this week was to go out to the lab several times and have my work area set up for this weekend.
Monday, a dear friend called me and asked me for a huge favor: would I make her a two-page flyer to go with this other mailout that needs to get done ASAP if not sooner, since the woman who had been doing it is having Huge Personal Problems?
Sure, I said.
Well, it's finally done and I'm about to meet her for a thank-you dinner. I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow evening, so I guess I'll be setting up on Saturday and getting things done Saturday and Sunday.
I need to build up my inventory and try making some buttons. Do you think enameled copper or etched copper buttons would sell? Maybe with gears on them?
I should get confirmation from the new Celtic Festival by tomorrow as to whether I'm in or not. I'm definitely in the Austin Celtic Festival; and once again I'm going to try to get into the Blue Genie Art Bazaar and the Cherrywood Art Festival. I'm not taking any classes this summer or fall so I can concentrate on whipping my business into shape.
Speaking of which. is anyone on my flist interested in taking over my website? Right now I want to to a few things: get rid of all the old pictures (and my old resume) and run a link to my flickr account; put a link to my business Facebook page, and make it easy for me to put up show dates. I can pay in jewelry!
