A piercing! (Not a piercing scream, I hope)

Getting my ear pierced Friday night, to celebrate the World's Best Niece quitting smoking. Had to order a titanium ring, since stainless steel would cause a multitude of problems. And the WBN is coming along for moral support.

So my question to my flist, where should I get it? (It's a thin hoop, uncolored.) Outer ear? Inner ear? Right ear? Left ear? Inquiring minds want to know.

I had success with both my upper cartilage piercings, if that helps. I have to take breaks, but that's because I'm nickel-reactive and even with plain steel or titanium it gets sore after a few months of constant wear, but that holds true for the lobe piercings too.

I've wanted to try inner ear one, Ih ave no idea what that part of the ear is called, but if I'm going to get more metal, I'm leaning toward nose.
