So many people I know are doing the house-buying thing now. It's crazy. Be glad you're not in DC area. Most of the houses here are not only ridiculously expensive, but in short supply - so that houses are only on the market a day or two.

You have excellent credit, that's all they care about. They're not going to be judging you on your tastes in reading or the contents of your fridge :)

I hope you'll post about the process! I look at MLS listings all the time, but I'll never have a house. So let me live vicariously? Please?
