Cheney pulled his back moving boxes. Um, yeah, right.
OMG, the Obama kids are so cute!
It appears to be Colorful Scarf Day on the podium. GHW Bush in purple, Clinton in yellow, others in red, black-and-white stripes. Color has finally come to menswear!
...Did I just see Jimmy Carter totally blow off Bill Clinton? I think I did! Hee!
Jimmy Carter gets a standing ovation. Bush doesn't. :-)
Well, Mr. Saddleback Church was actually on-topic. And so offensively inoffensive I bet there was a whole staff working on his sermon. Huh.
Aretha Franklin wins the Hat Wars, Forever and Ever, Amen.
Go Joe and your lovely blue tie. I'd forgotten what a short swearing-in it is for the VP.
Wow. Talk about the superstars of chamber music! ...and it's derivative John Williams. I'm suprised they're all playing outdoors, considering how cold it is.
Nice bobble on the oath there, Chief Justice. Again, short oath.
Dead silence during his speech. Eerie.
He just told the entire US to grow up and get to work, dissed Creationism, and warned both the House and Senate to get their acts together.
