Nah, doesn't make you a terrible person. I've gotten so thoroughly turned off/disillusioned by veterinarians, it's not even funny. I avoid them if I possibly, possibly can at all, and I probably ought to feel bad about that, but man. I'm just not that impressed with them (or most human health care providers, for that matter) any more.
