Last Post of 2007

Christmas has finally come and gone.  It was OK; I got really nice sheets and a Scumbuster (I'm so boring). My darling nephew gave me the second season of Babylon 5 so I now have no excuse not to watch the whole thing again. But since I'll be in class 4 nights a week it will take a while.

I saw J and C, my favoritest married men, on their usual mad dash through Austin over Christmas. They've moved to Boston and J has at least finished the draft of his Ph.D. paper. Ate BBQ with them one day and dim sum on another. Loaned them some DVDs.

Why was everyone at the grocery store today? I mean, I know why I was there, I just question everyone else's reasons.

I'm staying in tonight, merrily copying DVDs (oh, it's a pirate's life for me!) and eating ice cream. And pizza.

I'm still thinking about resolutions. I'm sure something will occur to me tomorrow while I'm watching the Rose Bowl Parade.

I and the Death of Rats wish everyone an excellent 2008. May it be better in every way than 2007. I am looking forward to a prosperous Year of the Rat when that rolls around.
