No right turn, no left turn...

Spent most of today and yesterday in the workshop. I discovered that applying yellow enamel directly to copper gets you...a really nice woody brown, due to the interaction between the copper and the enamel. I applied a later of clear enamel first (and used a brighter yellow) and got a decent yellow. Then I used the stencils I'd made from some templates, and voila! I just need to add connectors and a clasp.

This bracelet  I'm going to make from these is one of the ones I want to photograph for Blue Genie; another one I want to do in this series is either Do Not Enter or stop signs in different languages. Reds are tricky and have to be fired last and at a low temp, though. Maybe I should just stick to black and white?

I also came up with a nice effect that I'm going to mess with this week, before I have to go up to Dallas for AnimeFest. No Dragon*Con for me this year! I'm being nice and running this little show for Mr. Pegasus so he can go to Atlanta and take care of business.
