I'm back...
Mar. 7th, 2011 02:02 am....decompressing from the load-out and drive. Will go to bed soon, I promise.
NTIF was bearable. alycorn was there, and we had great fun making comments about people and trying to crack each other up. The hours were long but the company was good. I also got to eat at Cindi's (a great deli/restaurant) for breakfast twice. I had latkes!
Mr. Sydney, the 12-year-old Border collie mix that I was transporting, got dropped off around 6. He was a very lovely boy and gave us no real trouble. Though my car now smells of dog....
We got the go-ahead to pack up early, which was much appreciated. Got out about 9:30 and I met the person picking up Mr. Sydney at about 12:45. I made good time down from Dallas--traffic was pretty much non-existent.
So. I'm back, my knee is unhappy but not as unhappy as I thought it would be, and now I have to start getting things together for the World Horror Festival at the end of April. It's here, for which I am grateful.
