Hot on a Sunday

Made it to the workshop, but I slept late and it was already damn hot. Did some more organizing and discovered that I'm out of the copper discs I use to make enamel bracelets. :-( But, I did some metal pounding and used my cool new hole-making toy to make buttons out of some small copper discs I had. I'll enamel them tomorrow. Need to order a lot of copper blanks for the upcoming season.

My amazing sister-in-law came by and we got my sewing machine out of storage for their office manager. She needs one, I have one that I haven't used in about 10 years, so it all works out. Plus I get extra space in my storage unit.

Bother, it's hot. I need to clean all the coins I bought a couple of weeks ago and do some experimentation with the inks to make my buddy J's cufflinks. (He asked for some cufflinks like these, but since I don't have access to a commercial enameling setup, I figured I'd try using alcohol inks and a sealant.)

Still no luck selling my futon couch or my small rolling desk-thing. I figure on Tuesday 4-day weekend!) I'll take pictures to the big used office supply place and see if there is any interest there.

I just ordered a large messenger bag to use at Comic Con. And silver is below $34/oz so I'm going to order some. *watches money fly out the window*
