Posting from comic con!
Jul. 22nd, 2011 04:41 pmI'm on a break between panels and in a convenient hot spot, so here's an update.
WootStock was awesome with a side of amazing. Paul & Storm were hilarious, Wil Wheaton and everyone else involved made me laugh until
I thought I was going to wet myself. Seeing Adam Savage sing My Way as Gollum was almost worth the price of admission itself.
Getting back to my host's house was an exercise in frustration and I'll detail those woes later.
Today (so far) was Torchwood and Walking Dead. Barrowman is just as handsome and as much of a flirt as you'd think. Gwen (can't think of her real name) loves In-N-Out and L.A. Everyone was giggly and flirty. Walking Dead showed a new preview and announced that the premiere will be Sun Oct 16. The actors have to check for ticks every day and the stuff the use to make the zombie mouths black tastes so bad you see little black puddles all over the set!
Went through the art show andmanaged some restraint--only bought 2 pieces. Admittedly, one was a signed Kelly Freas print, but it was the cheapest one there!
Heading to Eureka panel, will post later.
