Heh.

I like Mr. Benford's work. But I'm more of a fantasy reader.
Not much of a reader at all this past year...my "to read" pile is enormous, and many of the hardbacks I bought are now out in paperback. I just don't have the time any more, with trying to make a serious go at the jewelry biz and all. And I've gotten to the point where if I bounce off a novel more than once it goes on the for sale pile....I just don't have the time or energy to slog my way though something that I'll find I like after 200 pages.
Yet, I'll always find time to read the latest Terry Pratchett or Charlaine Harris or Martha Wells, so I guess I'm just prioritizing.
Big show this weekend. Plus the local gem and mineral show starts Friday, so I'm taking a vacation day to deal with that. Have to spend money at my wholesalers, after all. Then I can actually concentrate on getting Christmas presents made, sending out cards, and getting my accounts in order for the end of the year. Heck, I might even mop the kitchen!
