Bwah!
In other news:
After I finally moved everything out of my closet, they did indeed remove the carpet. Now I have a truly ugly flameproof floor in my workroom. This is important, as I want to solder and play with fire on my metal. I am looking into other jewelrymaking activities, as the constant strain on my hands, even with the expensive pliers of doom, is no good. I have been diagnosed with moderate to severe carpal tunnel in my right (dominant) hand. Le sigh.
My physical therapist has told me that my carpal tunnel is exacerbated by my two main activities: keyboarding/mousing and wireworking. (My first thought was, "Hmm, I wonder if I can get back into retail for as much as I'm making now?" Sadly, the answer is no.) So I am being very cautious about working, and have done some limited work.
I'll have more pics on my website soon, and I'm thinking of getting a seperate LJ account for blogging about my jewelry making, unless someone can point me to a site with more picture space available (not MySpace, please).
And keep good thoughts for me. I might have an interview next week.
