I find myself wishing you'd declared bankrupcy before they tightened the screws on it. It's very hard to get out from under debt, because of user-ous debt. That's what congress forgot -- if bankrupcy is no longer an option, then usery laws to protect the public must appear again.
Third choice -- work toward a masters in something needed -- health industry, true engineering degrees (NI would be delighted to hire you. They desperately need more women engineers!) I don't think I am engineer material, and my hands won't hold up to health industry stuff.
Or check into working for the state in some capacity?
