Things accomplished this weekend

Watched Stargate Atlantis. Squeed a lot.
Mailed off 2 packages. Ran errands. Finally shopped at the HEB that took over for the crappy Albertsons a few blocks away. I'm giving it a thumbs-up.
Put up Christmas-y lights on the balcony.
Ate Chinese food and went to the Blue Genie Art Bazaar. (Man, I gotta get into this one next year.) Got the niece and nephew weird t-shirts. Got a mug (I never buy mugs!) with this on it. I luv Sam Hurt.
Saw The Golden Compess. The kid they had playing Lyra was excellent and had her down perfectly. They did a good job of compressing a large book into a movie; I hope there is an extended cut on the DVD. And that they make the sequels. Saw lots of crappy previews (a Sex and the City movie? For the love of God, why?), and a nice one for the next Narnia flick.
Finished up buying things for my Angel Tree kids. Did laundry, contemplated cooking. Will cook on Monday.
Got some of my contract web work done. I really need a bigger monitor to hook my laptop up to. Or just a cheap desktop for this kind of thing.
Enjoyed the weather change. (Seriously, it was 80+ on Saturday and then it dropped all day Sunday to about 50 and foggy. Today it's only 45 at noon, and foggy.) I was walking around in tshirt and shorts yesterday, happy that the weather gods had turned the damned air conditioning back on.
Explained to my brother that there is no magic software that will let you drag your movies from your TiVo straight onto a DVD. For the thousandth time, wish he had bought a Mac lo those many years ago; it would have solved so many problems.
Slept.
How was your weekend?
