Cloverfield

I saw Cloverfield tonight at the Alamo Drafthouse, with the World's Best Niece. I definitely can see where those with motion sickness would have a problem. I have a slight headache, myself.
Also, my new toy catalog arrived today, aka the Rio Grande Tool & Equipment Catalog. I'll be in my bunk....
...and They Might Be Giants will be here March 5! We have tickets!
(I know, I know, link-happy much?)
It reminded me of a weird combination of Miracle Mile and The Mist. Since I never saw The Blair Witch Project, I can't speak to that. Pretty cool movie, but I did have some nitpicks:
You KNOW there are small, fast monsters running around. Loot a sporting goods store/pawn shop Y/N?.
You are wearing high heels and running through rubble. Loot a shoe store Y/N?
It is very dark. Find a flashlight Y/N?
(None of the leads were gamers. Trust me.)
However, it was well-done, not too long or short.
