Ten things that I love that begin with R, in no particular order
1. Rice--sticky rice to be exact. Or brown rice. Mmmmm. Rice.
2. Rounders--Matt Damon! Poker! This is Oceans 11 for the blue-collar set, and one of my top 10 movies.
3. Raiders of the Lost Ark--I saw this over a dozen times the summer it was released. Still one of my favorite movies.
4. Ripley from Alien/Aliens, etc.--Best female role model ever...I named my cat after her!
5. Rodney McKay--Stargate: Atlantis' crankiest genius. I like him because he's not particularly pretty or nice.
6. Rick from Casablanca. World-weary but idealistic. Plus Humphrey Bogart. Can't beat Bogart.
7. Reading--Books, magazines, fanfic, etc. I cheerfully admit to being a junkie for the written word.
8. Road Trips--Going somewhere cool, just taking a trip out to San Antonio to the zoo or some little town for BBQ.
9. Rocks and minerals--Ever since I was a little kid I loved stopping at rock shops and I always came back from summer camp with more cool rocks than I had space for. Now I make jewelry with them and I love them more than ever.
10. Rainbows--Schmoopy, yes, but I always get excited about seeing one. I grew up in the desert, and rainbows mean rain, which is always welcome!
