Got to the site about 8, did my setup. Weather was very nice, if on the warm side, but the breeze cooperated (i.e., not much of one), and the bugs were minimal, thank the drought.
vickita came by several times, and endeared herself to me FOREVER by running out and buying me lemonade and chicken-on-a-stick. A vendor friend stopped by a couple of times, so I was even able to go to the bathroom. Awesome.
Best Band of the Day: Jiggernaut! I am totally buying their CD if it's available.
World's Best Niece never came by. She got trapped in the Bridesmaid's Dress Fitting from Hell (it's burnt orange, people, and she had to pay for hers!), but she swears up and down that she'll be there mid-afternoon Sunday.
I had very respectable sales today. Folks are buying smaller, generally, but most are still buying. I had several return customers who made a point of showing off their previous purchases, and then they bought something new! Several of my coworkers stopped by, and a couple of old friends I had not seen in far too long did as well. I got several coins and other pieces made throughout the day. (I've found that seeing me work on something reassures potential customers that I actually do all the work myself.)
Came home, checked my email and ordered pizza. Guess what!?!?
I GOT INTO THE WHEATSVILLE SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Does the happy dance!0

Re: Jiggernaut -- I love them so much. I miss the presence of The Piper and Wolf Loescher, but the band goes on, and they're still fabulous. Deanna's voice is not to be missed. (They have two CDs, and they're both excellent.)
I just got back to my room after going down to the session for a while. Pretty cool. HUGE bunch of musicians making organized noise down there.
