Fridays are for...sweating?

Guess what I was doing all evening? If you answered, "Helping my brother replace the radiator in my car", you'd win some sort of prize, but then I'd have you arrested for stalking...for the last 2 days I've been filling the radiator with water basically whenever the engine had been off for more than 30 minutes. It never overheated, it would just...piddle on the parking lot.

Rather than face a future with an incontinent car, I went and bought a radiator/hoses/thermostat today. At some point someone ran over something large with my car (most likely before I bought it, but you never know), and bent my condenser and a few other things. Since my AC still works fine, we just unbent things and put them back. We were almost done when it really got too dark to fiddle with teeny screws and such, so I go back over to his house very early in the morning (when it's only half a million degrees outside) to finish up.

Then I can finally go get the firebrick I've needed for my workspace, and get everything set up in my workshop. Because I now have a flex shaft, a torch (and the oxygen and propane needed for it), and the use of an awesome kiln. I bought a bunch of enamels and things with which to enamel, so I want to try getting a few things done this weekend. I need to make some ammonite pendants and some earrings, and I want to have some enameled pieces for ArmadilloCon next weekend.

Then I need to get stuff together to try to get into Blue Genie this Christmas.
