Weekend: busy, productive

Got the tragus piercing on Friday night. Both the World's Best Niece and her boyfriend came along as moral support--each one held a hand. It was only very briefly painful, and I've yet to have any pain with it at all. Of course, I am following the aftercare instructions to the letter. :-)

Also went to the Zilker Garden Festival with my friend G, where I bought some plants and got information about selling there next year. G bought pursulane for the Duck, and I got some succulents and some locally-grown tomato plants, since we are putting in a little community-garden-type area at work and I only like fresh tomatoes. Now on to laundry, vacuuming, and repotting other plants. Hope y'all had a great weekend!

Looks awesome! You are much braver than I am, I would need much more than a couple hand-holders for such a thing, hehehe.

Mmm, fresh tomatoes...I should plant some things in my garden, there's a bed along the side of the house that's empty but for a few weeds. I'd kind of love to have some fresh rosemary, it grows like crazy and is delicious!

OMG it has been so pretty this weekend! And we missed Zilker Garden Fest! Oh noes! But we did get to see the Flaming Idiots one last time and I'm mostly ready for Passover tomorrow night.

Did you get enough herbs from the Bar Mitzvah? I still have a couple of flat leaf parsley and Purple Sage plants from the centerpieces (although I was VERY happy to see most folks taking their little paper pots home from the party!)
