I haz Wii!

Yes, God help me, I now have a Wii.

I subscribed to www.wiialerts.com and they did indeed let me know that Amazon had them this morning. Luckily most people were out shopping so they stayed on the site for awhile--at least 15 minutes; long enough for me to change credit card information and decide to not use my gift certificate balance on it. (Saving up for a new iPod!)

I figure I'll play with it and if I don't like it, I can sell it for at least what I paid for it. :-)

And it's not like I don't have access to all the games (stares at dremiel).

I will, I will post two recipes when I get home. Good ones for parties, even.

Amazing Eggnog
Once you try this you'll never drink that abomination in a carton again. This is courtesy of my grandpa Blackie, who when asked by a snooty D.A.R. (Daughters of the American Revolution) lady where "his people" were from, answered "Well, half of 'em come over on the Mayflower, and the other half done met 'em at the dock."
