lillian13I went to see the broadcast of Danny Boyle's Frankenstein this afternoon with dremiel and her Boy. It was amazing--we saw the version where Benedict Cumberbatch was Frankenstein and Jonny Lee Miller was The Creature. The lighting was absolutely stunning, as were the sets (and set changes!) and the sound. Now I really wish they would show a few more performances so I could see it with the main roles reversed.
It was absolutely gorgeous today, but all I really got accomplished, besides seeing Frankenstein and gaming, was paying bills, hauling out some trash and recycling, voting in the City Council elections, and running a few things over to the Lab. I slept late, as I was up late reading the latest Charlaine Harris novel.
Sunday I really need to swap boxes and bins around and finish getting things stowed away in the new dresser and chest of drawers and set up the t-shirt "wardrobe". I also rather desperately need to vacuum pretty much every surface in the house.
