...pokes at it. Doesn't feel too much different from 46, except now I'm officially in my Late Forties. Never planned for this. Honestly, as a kid I assumed we'd all die in a nuclear war before I was 30.
I have been a SLUG this weekend. Sleeping late, staying up late to read (new Charles Stross book, "Rule 34" is brilliant as always), taking advantage of free food offers for my birthday, watching TV. Friday night my friends J and L took me out for Indian food at the Clay Pot, where I had Goat Saag. And garlic naan bread. Good stuff!
Today I'm going to attempt some minor house cleaning and get a few books ready to mail out that I've sold on half.com. Dinner tonight at the brother's place, which will involve some kind of grilled meat and prezzies!
Take care y'all.

Date: 2011-07-11 10:57 am (UTC)I'm figuring that these birthday things, at least re: the actual number of years, are pretty much hooey. I don't feel much different now than I did say, 5 years ago.
Hooray for slug weekend!
