Did I call it or did I call it? 
They cancelled Heist.
They cancelled one of the best damn shows I've seen since Karen Sisko. On a damned cliffhanger! After 4 damn episodes! After they had thrown it to the lions opposite Lost!

Well, I can only hope that USA or some other network picks it up to show the unaired episodes.

(kicks the carpet) Dang it.

Right after I got my 2-channel recording TiVo box, too. (Though honestly, I was thinking mainly of the CSI/Supernatural conflict.)

And now I'm worried what the neuro guy will say tomorrow about my right hand. I can learn to mouse with my left. But summer is when I get sooo much jewelry work done. If my right hand is out of commission for most of the summer....sigh.

I can't even drown my sorrows in chocolate. I've put back on over half the weight I'd managed to lose before my knee surgery last summer, and I'm trying like hell to stem that tide.

Grrrrr.

I knew they'd canceled Heist a week before the last ep. They reported it in the local paper where I am. There was a list of shows that were more or less likely to get canceled or renewed. It's a darn shame because there were some very well built characters on that show. They took the mismatched partners concept for the cops and really made it work. Stoopid networks.

I hope everything works out with the neuro guy and your hand!

Well, there was a reason I would watch it over Lost--I *knew* it didn't have long to live, and I wanted to wallow in it while I could. I can always catch up on Lost. (I did the same with Special Unit 2 when it was opposite The West Wing). Get your love while you can....
My Brother the Doctor says this neuro guy is really really good. Since I won't treat myself to calories after the appointment, the office is very near a Frys and a hardware store. Bet I can find some kind of retail therapy there!
