Gakked from just about everybody:

What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The Midland

"You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio.

What's funny? Is that I am from Deep West Texas, where to give an example, the Nature and Pets section of a bookstore would be pronounced "Nay-chur ay-un Pey-uts".

I've gone to considerable lengths to get rid of the accent--I was a theatre major for several years and I answered phones professionally (back when there were such things as answering services) for even longer. The only time West Texas creeps back in is when I am a) tired, b) on the phone with my sister, who still hails from there, or c) messing with somebody who can't believe I'm from Bubba-land.
