I'm still learning about DW and clicking about to familiarise myself. So I just came across this post now.
You probably already know, but if not: To crosspost, you click Create > Post an Entry as normal, and then at the bottom of the dialogue box, you'll see a Crossposting Settings link. Click on that and edit things as you wish.
HTH. I had to look all this stuff as I intend to make DW my main journal from now on, but I'm going to keep crossposting to LJ as a sort of backup.
