My right hand hurts like crazy. As usual, I put off getting things ready for the show this weekend (y'all are coming, right?), and while mainlining DVDs the last 2 evenings (second season of the Muppet Show, Torchwood--there's a taste combination for you!), I did a lot of wirework, mostly of the "making parts to make other parts" kind. Even with my lovely, hideously expensive Rx pliers, I am feeling the non-love in the base of my right hand today. And I still need to get some pendants and earrings done tonight, plus I need to price everything... I'm just glad that almost everything like table covers, display items. booth necessitites, lights, etc. is already packed (stays packed in the bins) and I have loading the wagon down to a science. There are pluses to having done this many times.
No work tomorrow. (Well, no office work anyway.) I'm loading up the car and taking the World's Best Niece to the park, where we will set up the tent (please, no wind!) and get everything ready for the weekend. Well, almost everything, since I'm not leaving my jewelry out in the tent overnight, even though the show and park have a locked fence and decent security. I'll just get in a couple of hours early on Saturday to put everything out. Luckily this show is reasonable about starting times (11 am! yay!), so that just means being there a little before 9 am.
